Weekend Update
Happy Monday! I know that everyone usually hates on Monday, but I have always liked it. When I worked in Retail Management, I was usually off on Mondays and it was a much needed break from the chaotic weekend. Now that I am a stay at home mom, my weekends are full of fun and Lularoe so Monday is my back on track day. If I spend the day doing all of the things that I put off over the weekend, the whole week seems to roll by a lot smoother. Today I have cleaned and done laundry and I feel all caught up on life.
Friday, I ran a lot of errands and got things ready for my Open house on Saturday. When I moved my inventory from my parent's house (where it was staying during my move) and into my new home, I underestimated how much my inventory had grown in the past month. I had several boxes that I couldn't hang because I ran out of hangers! That meant a last minute Costco trip Friday afternoon to grab more hangers.
Saturday was the open house and it was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who came. I am going to announce the winner of the raffle LIVE tomorrow night. I want to do Open House hours on a regular basis so be sure to let me know what day and time works best for you. In person events are so refreshing and exciting for me. I love interacting with you all online as well but the stay at home mom in me does a happy dance when I get to hang out with you in real life. :)
Sunday is for rest, and boy, did we ever rest. By some miracle, Declan slept until 10am which meant that his mama slept until 10am as well. I couldn't believe it! We missed church! I was disappointed in myself for not setting an alarm but I also think we really needed the rest. That afternoon we went to my parent's house for lunch and had a relaxing afternoon followed by a family night at home while watching a movie (Moana) and painting the fireplace (eeek!).
If you have ever thought about becoming a Lularoe Consultant, come back here on Wednesday! That post will be all about what you need to get started!
